Top 6 Sustainable Practices at Edg-Clif

These initiatives reflect Edg-Clif Vineyard & Winery's commitment to sustainability and supporting the local ecosystem.

1- Eco-friendly tasting room construction

The new tasting room was constructed using reclaimed materials from the original building, including doors made from fallen trees on the property, promoting resource conservation

3- Single use plastic reduction

The venue offers free water through water dispensers and compostable cups to eliminate single-use plastic water bottles.

5- Spent grain upcycling

Grains from the on-site brewery are given to nearby poultry farms as feed, supporting local agriculture and reducing food waste.

2- Compostable & reusable food service items

All food service products, including glassware, straws, flatware, and plates, are either compostable or reusable, ensuring a low environmental footprint.

4- Upcycling grape byproducts

Grape stems (rachis), grape skins and seeds are repurposed by local pork producers, reducing agricultural waste.

6- Sustainable packaging for cleaning products

All cleaning products used on the property come in environmentally friendly, sustainable packaging, minimizing plastic waste.
